I had spent most of the day looking for shapes and concept photos at Interstate Park and along the Saint Croix River. So my imagination was already active. I still had a few shots left in the camera. On the way home, the sky was looking interesting from time to time. It was an unusual combination of clouds. So I took a detour up to the church.
I am starting to get into the habit of inviting God to show me something special when I am out in his creation. "Show me your glory, your creativity!" I have had some special treats this summer.
God did all the work. I was just fortunate to capture some of it in images.

I did not notice the face until the next day.

Just some rows of clouds

These had looked a little more like an angel or two before I got the shot.
And that's when I invited God to have fun and show me some more. So the next few
were displayed in the exact same spot in the sky.

The lamb who was slain

Arms outstretched in love and power; Or perhaps offering the cross as a gift.

As Jesus contemplated the cross, "...Yet, not my will, but yours be done..."

As I was waiting for the clouds to change, I was reading the part of "The Pilgrim's Progress" where Christian was facing all kinds of creatures through the Valley of the Shadow of Death.
I see the arms reaching up, the faint face looking to the left, and possibly another face left-center.
This was a very sobering reminder that some victories will not come easily.

If you have the prophetic gift, and have another interpretation for me or my church, I am interested in hearing that.
